Experience
A Davenport Family Tradition of Trust & Craft
Kathy's Childcare started with a simple belief: the people who care for your home should care about your family too. What began as one-person handyman work has grown into a two-pillar service — home repair and childcare — both rooted in the same values.
We are locally owned and operated right here in Davenport. Every repair we make, every child we welcome into our care, reflects the same standard: show up on time, do the job right the first time, and treat your home and your children as if they were our own.
The Difference Is in the Details
We don't just fix things or watch children — we build relationships that last. Here's what sets Kathy's Childcare apart from every other option in Davenport.
Punctual & Professional
We respect your time. Every visit is scheduled, confirmed, and honored — no no-shows, no vague windows.
Licensed & Fully Insured
Your peace of mind is non-negotiable. We carry full liability coverage and maintain every required license for both service lines.
Family-First Philosophy
Whether we're in your kitchen or your classroom, we approach every task with the same care we'd give our own home and children.
Honest, Fair Pricing
No inflation, no upselling, no surprise charges. We quote what we charge and charge what we quote.
Clear Communication
You'll know exactly what's happening, why it's needed, and what it costs — before any work begins.
Locally Rooted
We live here, work here, and depend on our neighbors' trust. That's why we invest in lasting relationships, not quick transactions.
See the Results for Yourself
From fully renovated kitchens to vibrant learning environments — every project reflects our commitment to quality and care.
What Our Community Says
Kathy's team fixed our kitchen and bathroom in one weekend. The work was immaculate, the price was exactly what they quoted, and they cleaned up better than they found it. I recommend them to everyone.
Finding trustworthy childcare was the hardest thing we did as new parents. Kathy's Childcare gave us peace of mind from day one. Our daughter loves going every morning, and we never worry.
I've used Kathy's for both home repairs and childcare over the years. The consistency in quality across both services is remarkable. They treat your home and your children with the same respect.
